The customer needed three versions of the magholder for double stack magazines: the Glock, Smith & Wesson M&P, & XD. I reverse engineered each magazine and designed the one injection mold to be versatile enough to produce all three magholder versions, requiring only a few inserts being switched out before injection-molding any specific magholder. This saved over $50k in mold-production costs by making it work with one injectioin mold rather than two.
